DDL (Daily Delivery in Lebanon) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how DDL collects, uses, and shares information when drivers, vendors, shop owners, and authorized operations users use the DDL mobile app and related delivery services.
DDL does not sell personal information, does not use personal information for third-party advertising, and does not use app data to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Information We Collect
To provide delivery management, dispatch, account, communication, safety, and support features, the application may collect and process the following information:
- Account and contact information: name, phone number, email address, account role, user ID, profile details, account status, login credentials, and related account information.
- Delivery and order information: order details, delivery status updates, pickup and delivery addresses, customer contact details needed for delivery, store or vendor details, delivery notes, timestamps, earnings and activity information, duty status, vacation or availability status, and related operational records.
- Location information: precise driver location, current latitude and longitude, last known location, route-related location updates, pickup coordinates, and delivery coordinates. Depending on device settings and operating system permissions, location may be collected while the app is open and, where enabled, while the app is running in the background for delivery operations.
- Device and app information: device model, platform, app version, operating system information, vendor device identifier, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, notification token, network status, and similar technical identifiers.
- Communications and user content: messages and files users choose to send, such as text, photos, videos, documents, audio messages, and shared locations.
- Diagnostics and logs: app errors, crash-related information, API status, connectivity status, performance logs, support logs, and uploaded log files.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- create, authenticate, and manage accounts;
- provide delivery, dispatch, order, routing, chat, notification, and profile features;
- assign, display, and manage delivery orders;
- show driver position to authorized dispatch, admin, vendor, shop owner, or operations users;
- support route navigation and delivery progress;
- verify arrival, pickup, delivery, cancellation, or status changes;
- send service notifications and order alerts;
- protect accounts, detect misuse, prevent fraud, and maintain service security;
- diagnose technical issues and improve app reliability;
- comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, and operational requirements.

We share information only as needed to operate the service, provide support, comply with law, and protect our users and business.
Information may be shared with:
- authorized dispatch, admin, vendor, shop owner, or operations users who need the information for delivery management;
- delivery customers or shops when needed to complete or coordinate an order;
- backend hosting, database, notification, logging, and infrastructure providers;
- map, routing, and location service providers, including Google Maps services, when map, route, or location preview features are used;
- legal, regulatory, law enforcement, or safety parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent abuse.
DDL does not sell personal information. DDL does not share personal information with data brokers. DDL does not share app data for third-party advertising or advertising measurement.
App Tracking Transparency
DDL does not use data collected from the app to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising or advertising measurement. DDL does not access the iOS advertising identifier for tracking. Because the app does not perform this type of tracking, it does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain delivery records, support users, resolve disputes, secure the service, comply with legal or accounting obligations, and operate the business. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and business or legal requirements.

If you disable required permissions, some app features may not work. For example, drivers may need location permission to receive, manage, or complete delivery orders.

Children's Privacy
DDL is intended for registered drivers, vendors, shop owners, and authorized business users. It is not directed to children.
